![]() Im using some bound (cover-less) pages I got off a guy oh here (rpf) actually. Iv used a bit of sandpaper to bring some highlights back on some spots, but still playing with the finish, it looks rad and feels gross So then i got some dark brown and black leather dye, and using plain old white glue (as it has a nice long drytime so i can maneuver everything as well as being wet to help the leather into place) did the base brown first, then after it dried I semi drybrushed some black and brown mixed in. ![]() seemed to look not bad, but without some wet glue to help suck it into the cracks more. Then did a quick fit with some thin dear hide. Started with a basic drawing on a hunk of artboard, added some clay to bulk out the shapes. I wanted it to be real leather, and have that soft skin texture but still be solid.Īfter a bit of testing this is what iv come up with. KEEP IN MIND THIS FIRST POST IS JUST THE BETA TEST, IM GOING TO DO A REAL ONE SOON Iv started to work on a necronomicon from evil dead series Iv sorta taken inspiration from all 3 main movies, mixed with what i can do myself.
